Hi Millbrae Baseball Families,

We hope that you and your family are healthy and safe, as we all do our best to push forward during these uncertain times. As we learned this week, public health officials in San Mateo county have extended the COVID-19 stay-at-home order through May.  The Millbrae Baseball Board is waiting on making any final decisions on our current season until we receive further updates from state and local governments, and most importantly, we will follow any future guidance from San Mateo County Public Health Department on group gatherings. This is a rapidly evolving situation and our goal is to provide the best baseball experience for our players, if it is deemed safe to do so. We appreciate your patience with us as we try our best to work towards a solution.

If possible, our plan is to have some form of organized baseball activities during the summer months. We know kids and parents miss outdoor activities, hanging out with friends, and especially the game of baseball.

Please continue to follow social distancing and remember that all Millbrae fields remain closed. All of us hope that by following the guidelines of the shelter in place and maintaining social distancing, we can help prevent unnecessary transmission of this virus, and make for a faster recovery and a return to normal life and the opportunity to play the game we love.

Please take care of yourselves, your families and our community.

Sincerely,

Millbrae Baseball Board
