Hi White Sox families,

It looks like we have another weekend of rain, so we aren't having a practice this weekend. If it ever does stop raining, these will be our practice days:

Tuesday at Taylor Middle School (Field #2, the one near the snack bar) at 6 pm
Saturday at Taylor Middle School (Field #3, the one furthest from the snack bar) from 2 to 4 pm.

This year we are going with gray pants, black socks and a black belt. You can pick these things up at Dick's Sporting Goods, Big 5 or online. The league will be providing hats and jerseys.

Regarding equipment, if you are going to buy a bat, it should have the USA Baseball stamp of approval on it. It cannot say USSSA or UUSSAA or anything else, the bats have to be USA approved. They literally should say "USA Baseball" on them. Also, if you do opt to buy a bat, please put your child's name on it (and on every other piece of equipment).

Players should also have their own mitts & helmets, and the players should all wear a cup
